Mighty Summit was founded by Laura and Maggie Mason four years ago as a small, private retreat for women in media. Following its success, the two founded the bigger-audience, bigger-venue retreat Camp Mighty (November 15–17; Palm Springs, California) now in its second year.
This fall, Maggie and Laura are partnering with Sarah to introduce Go Mighty, a platform where women can connect, achieve, and make dreams come true.

Meet the Team
Laura is an Emmy-winning writer and a co-founder of the Mom 2.0 Summit, the Mighty Summit & Camp Mighty, as well as Kirtsy. She has worked with Kirtsy to curate national art exhibits and installations, to run nationwide programs to educate women about social media, to throw charitable and celebratory events across the country, and to publish the book, Kirtsy Takes a Bow: A Celebration of Women’s Online Favorites. She speaks regularly at smart gatherings including SxSW, ALT Design Summit, Evo converence, TribeCon, and Interactive Strategies. Laura records her daily adventures at Blog con Queso.
